Six injured in car crash

Stafford, N.Y. - One person is facing DWI charges while six people were taken to the hospital following a rollover crash in Genesee County Thursday night.

Sheriff's Deputies said that a minivan driven by Latoya Stanley of Batavia was traveling on Sweetland Road when it failed to yield the right of way to a GMC Suburban driven by Jared Flaming of Corfu on Transit Road. This caused the minivan to be T-boned and roll over.

Five people in the minivan were trapped but later extricated. They were all taken to the hospital. One of them, a child, was flown via Mercy Flight for a shoulder injury.

Three people were in the Suburban. One of the passengers was also flown to the hospital for treatment.

Flaming was charged with Felony DWI.
