Restaurant bans loud or crying kids

MONTEREY, CA  - A popular restaurant in California is offending some parents.

Old Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey is now prohibiting strollers, high chairs, booster seats, loud kids and crying babies.

The restaurant posted a sign outside.

It also says that if children or babies make loud noises, they will be asked to leave.

Some tourists believe the signs are offensive.

The restaurant's owner, Chris Shake, said if customers don't like the rules, they can go somewhere else for dinner.

Shake said he is not backing down.
