Jurors deliberate in murder case featured on 'First 48'

Rochester, N.Y. - William Klick was shot four times and left for dead on Copely Street in October of 2012. The murder was featured on A & Es crime show: The First 48 back in November.

Cameras captured Rochester Police investigators tracing William Klicks final hours and interrogating his ex-girlfriend, Katherine Maderoff and Jeffrey Blunt, who were ultimately charged in the crime.

Klicks mother said she couldnt watch the crime show featuring her sons murder because she couldnt bear to watch some of the graphic details. But she believed it was important to show how police solved this case.

Marianne Klick said it is difficult to keep re-living this crime as she has done in the past few months. Katherine Maderoff took a plea deal in the case. She will be sentenced Thursday and faces up to 12 years in prison for her role in the murder.

She testified against Jeffrey Blunt in court. Jeffrey Blunt facing possible sentence of 25 years to life, if convicted. He faces Second Degree Murder charges as well as Conspiracy and weapons charges.

Klick said she just wants justice for her son so she can focus on remembering who he was and not the violent way he died.

The jury deliberated for about an hour Tuesday. They will return in the morning.
