All suspects in Lima manhunt apprehended

Lima, N.Y./Honeoye Falls, N.Y. - The New York State Police have identified one person involved in a shooting in Bath around 11:30 p.m. Monday.

According to investigators, Steven Alexander, 24, of Rochester and two others were allegedly involved in the incident.

A vehicle matching the description of the one the suspects were driving was found in Lima around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. The Livingston County Sheriff's Department attmepted to stop the car, but the driver did not stop.

After a brief chase with Livingston County Sheriff's deputies, the suspects allegedly abandoned the car and led police on a foot chase.

One of the suspects was caught after 6:30 a.m. in Lima riding a bicycle - the other two were later picked up in Mendon. All three were taken to the State Police barracks in Geneseo for interviews.

Alexander was arrested for assault, with other charges possible.
