11 injured after Philly food truck explosion

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Authorities say at least 11 people were injured after a propane tank on a food truck exploded in north Philadelphia, and two remain in critical condition with serious burns.

Chief Inspector Scott Small said that a 27-year-old woman and teenage girl were in critical condition Tuesday night with serious burns on a substantial portion of their bodies.

He says that surveillance video of the explosion shows a huge fireball that reaches to the other side of the street and that the propane tank that exploded landed in a backyard about 150 feet away.

Small says four others are in stable condition and at least five people were treated and released after the incident outside an auto body shop in the city's Feltonville neighborhood.
