Gregg Allman biopic director facing charges

Savannah, Ga. (AP) -- The director of a movie about Gregg Allman is facing serious charges.

Authorities in Savannah, Georgia have indicted Randall Miller as well as his wife and business partner and the film's executive producer. All are facing felony charges as the result of a fatal crash in which a freight train plowed into the film's crew in February.

If convicted, the filmmakers could get up to 11 years in prison for the death of Sarah Jones, a camera assistant who was killed when the train struck. Six other crew members were hit.

The indictment from a grand jury says the filmmakers went on a train trestle even after they were denied access.
