TSA fees increase Monday

Starting Monday, travelers on planes will start seeing higher ticket prices due to the Transportation Security Administration fees rising.

Travelers taking non-stop flights or long layovers will take the biggest hit in the price hike.

Currently, the fee for non-stop flights is $2.50 and $5 for a connecting flight.

The cost for all flights will increase to $5.60 and any connection longer than four hours will count as a separate flight.
