Part of Route 20A to close Monday
Warsaw, N.Y. A new project to replace a culvert on Route 20A at West Hill in the Village of Warsaw is set to begin Monday, July 7, and will close part of Route 20A to all traffic, according to the New York State Department of Transportation.
The $2.1 million project will replace a culvert built in 1922 with a new concrete pipe, as well as restoring pavement between Brad Street and Summit Avenue and resurface pavement between Wyoming Street and Oatka Creek.
Route 20A will be closed from Summit Avenue to Wyoming Street during the duration of the project, which could last until November.
Detours will be posted around the area and access to residential and commercial driveways will continue during the project.
