Bicyclist hospitalized in hit-and-run

Rochester, N.Y. -- A Rochester woman was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after being struck by a van early Wednesday morning, according to Rochester Police.

According to officers, the 41-year-old Mary Moore was riding her bicycle around 6:20 a.m. Wednesday on Clifford Ave when she was struck by a van from behind. The victim was then dragged at least 100 feet.

The van then drove away.

Moore was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. She is currently listed in guarded condition.

Officers have not released much information about the van or suspect. They ask anyone with information to call 911.
