Lake Ave. investigation: "No one found'

Rochester, N.Y. - Parts of Lake Avenue that were closed down because of a police investigation are now back open.

Rochester Police Officers and SWAT Teams barricaded the home at 4174 Lake Avenue after reports of an individual inside with a gun.

The caller, a man remodeling a house, told police he was confronted by a person described as a "squatter" who was armed.

A neighbor told 13WHAM that a contractor told him he got attacked inside.

Investigators said a complete search of the home and the surrounding area came up empty: there was no one found, armed or otherwise.

Investigators also said they'll be checking with local hospitals to see if anyone came in with injuries.

A follow-up investigation on the report of a burglary at the location is now underway.
