Car crashes into pole in Geneva

Geneva, N.Y. - One person was flown to the hospital by Mercy Flight after an early-morning crash in Ontario County.

The crash happened on Snell Road near Turk Road. Sheriff’s deputies said that the driver, 17-year-old Justin Willis was speeding and missed a curve in the road. The vehicle went off-road and hit a pole.

There were two passengers in the vehicle at the time. 18-year-old Javon Jackson was taken to Geneva General Hospital. He has since been released.

The second passenger, 20-year-old Sean Johnson, was flown by Mercy Flight to Upstate Medical Hospital and is now in stable condition.

Willis was cited for speeding and failing to keep right.
