Friday storm leaves damage across Monroe Co.

From Rochester to Charlotte, residents were cleaning up less than an hour after waters receded.

Along River Street in Charlotte, fire crews helped businesses pump out basements.
There was at least four feet of water in Scuttlebutts basement.

Next door, in the Charlotte Social Club, there was no power and plenty of water.

"We"ve had to pump the basement out. My bike was half way under water and it was just torrential," says John Zazzara, manager of the Charlotte Social Club.

Zazzara has worked at the Charlotte Social Club for 40 years and has never seen a storm like this one.

"We ended up getting shovels to clear all the drains because there were leaves, branches, everything else," says Zarrara.

While things have dried up there still a lot of clean up to be done.
