Man convicted of murder to appear in court

Rochester, N.Y. - Charles Pierre, the man convicted of killing two people in 2002, is expected to appear in court Tuesday.

Pierre said that he was wrongfully convicted of the crimes, and a judge said last month that there is enough evidence to believe he may be innocent.

Tuesday's hearing will determine if Pierre will be transferred from the Attica Correctional Facility to Monroe County Jail pending the possibility of a new trial.
