Police seeking community help

Batavia, N.Y. State Police are looking for help from the community after twelve cars were broken into last week in Batavia.

New York State Troopers said that around 7 p.m. on August 1, someone broke into several cars in the parking lot of the Batavia Sports Park during a soccer tournament.

Many of the stolen items were later found in a motel dumpster nearly 30 miles away.

Police ask that anyone with information please call State Police at (585) 344-3311.
