Body found in river is missing father

Rochester, NY - The Monroe County Medical Examiner has identified the body pulled from the Genesee River on Wednesday as Jacob Baxter of Rochester.

Baxter fell in the river on Monday while hiking along the Lower Falls with friends.

Baxter, 28, is a father of three, including a baby born in June.

He worked as a youth minister who also started a softball league for children in the inner city.

His family and friends said he had great faith in God and was spending his life giving back.

They are planning a memorial service for Saturday and have set up a site ( to raise money to continue his ministry.
