According to a new report, Jon Bon Jovi and his Toronto associates are officially in the mix to buy the Buffalo Bills.

The Toronto Sun reported Monday that Bon Jovis group was told over the weekend that its new bid was accepted.

Bon Jovi is the group leader, along with Larry Tanenbaum, chairman of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, and the Rogers family of the Rogers Communications empire.

The group, including Bon Jovi, Larry Tanenbaum, chairman of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, and the Rogers family of the Rogers Communications empire, were allowed to rebid.

According to the Sun, the groups initial bid was reportedly low and failed to make assurances that the Bills would stay in Western New York.

The Toronto group is now competing with Terry Pegula and Donald Trump, whose offers were already accepted.
