Questions remain after Honeoye fire one year ago

Honeoye, N.Y. - One year ago today, a massive fire ripped through a decades-old building in Honeoye.

The company who had just bought the property still has a lot of unanswered questions.

Police ruled it arson, but nobody has been arrested.

The owner of Commodore Plastics bought the property for the adjacent space, only four months before the fire.

Originally, he planned to either rent out the old stone construction building or use it for warehousing.

“Right now our plans are to leave it the way it was. We’ve cleaned it all up, made it nice and we’re going to leave it here and see what opportunity comes,” said Brad Braddon, the owner of Commodore Plastics.

Commodore Plastics put down concrete for future building, but there are still no set plans for that space.
