Local coffeehouse to reopen after fire

Rochester, N.Y. The owners of the Crossroads Coffeehouse on South Goodman Street have plans to reopen in a month after Sundays fire.

The effort to clean up the damage has been ongoing all week.

The plan is to rebuild the coffee shop, followed by a meeting room and ice cream shop.

An online fundraiser has brought in $1,800 so far to help with the rebuild.

We were surprised. We knew we had support, but this has been something else. Its been really great, the support weve gotten from our neighbors, said owner Charlie Capizzi.

The Crossroads Coffeehouse just celebrated their three year anniversary last month.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
