Red Wings head into all star break with another win

At 20-30, the Rochester Red Wings were looking at another lost season. Now, at the all-star break, they're looking like one of the best teams in the International League.

Thank goodness baseball is a long season.

The Red Wings beat the first place Pawtucket Red Sox 6-2 on Sunday, ending the first half of the season just three games back of the Sox for first place in the division, and one game back of Norfolk in the wild card race.

Five different Wings drove in runs on Sunday, including all-star Chris Colabello, who ended the first half of the season as the league leader in batting average and RBI, and second in homeruns.

Cody Eppley pitched three innings of scoreless, hitless relief for the win.

The Red Wings will return from the break on Thursday when they host the Syracuse Chiefs at Frontier Field.
