Sluman, Hall tied for Ryan Memorial lead

University of Louisville junior Trevor Sluman and Texas bound Freshman Gavin Hall share the lead heading into the final round of the John  Ryan Memorial Rochester District Golf Association Mens Championship at Irondequoit Country Club

Hall began the day with the lead, but struggled with a round of 5 over par 77. He did end his day by running in an 8 foot birdie putt on the final hole to tie Sluman for the lead  Sluman was steady all day, shooting a round of even par 72 to get into the clubhouse at one over par after a trying day in the heat and wind in Pittsford.


One shot back of the leaders is the defending RDGA champion Jim Scorse of Stafford Country Club. In 4th place, 3 shots back of the leaders is Larry Sand, playing on his home course at Irondequoit
