Jeter goes 0-2 with a walk, Wings win streak snapped

Derek Jeter is still shaking off the rust that comes with more than half a season on the disabled list, but the Yankee captain is getting closer to returning to the bigs.

Jeter went 0-2 with a walk and a run scored in his third rehab start against the Red Wings on Monday, helping snap Rochester's six game winning streak in the process.

Jeter said he will get the night off on Tuesday.

Andrew Albers took the loss for Rochester. The Wings' all-star was crusing along with a 3-1 lead. But the Rail Riders got to him for four runs in the fifth.

The Wings and Rail Riders will play the second game of a three game set on Tuesday. Pedro Hernandez will take the mound for Rochester, while Brett Marshall gets the call for Scranton/Wilkes Barre.
