Bills bring in another qb, trade for Thaddeus Lewis

Orchard Park, NY The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has traded LB Chris White to the Detroit Lions for QB Thaddeus Lewis.

Lewis spent the 2011-12 seasons on the Practice Squad and 53-man roster of the Cleveland Browns. He started the Browns 2012 regular season finale against Pittsburgh and completed 22-of-32 passes for 204 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

The 6-2, 219-pound Duke product entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the St. Louis Rams in 2010 and was a member of the teams Practice Squad his rookie season.

The Bills added free agent quarterback Matt Leinart earlier on Sunday.
