PGA: Leaders tee off for day three

Pittsford, N.Y. (AP) - Sunny, pleasant weather has bathed the Oak Hill Country Club course for the third round of the PGA Championship.

It's a welcome change from the first two days when heavy rains soaked the course and made low scores possible on the otherwise difficult layout.

Jason Dufner started the day with a two-shot lead after setting course record with a 7-under 63 in Round 2.

Dufner's playing partner and Masters champ Adam Scott entered today's play tied for second along with former U.S. Open winner Jim Furyk and Matt Kuchar, who's won twice on tour this year.

Another shot back are U.S. Open champ Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson, who's been a runner-up in his last two tournaments, the British Open and Bridgestone Invitational.

The group just four back includes former U.S. Open champ Webb Simpson and 2010 PGA Championship winner Martin Kaymer.

Among the earlier starters, Dustin Johnson posted a 5-under 65 to grab the early clubhouse lead at 2-under par.
