Bills still undecided on Manuel's status for Sunday

Bills quarterback E.J. Manuel practiced on Thursday, but that does not mean he is guaranteed to play in the season finale Sunday in Foxboro against the Patriots.

Head coach Doug Marrone said he wants to go back and review the practice tape before making any further decisions on the status of his rookie quarterback. He added he would like to make a decision as soon as possible.

Injuries have been an unfortunate theme for Manuel in his first year under center in Buffalo. If he misses Sunday's finale, it will be the sixth game he's missed this season. He also missed two games in the preseason because of a knee injury.

If E.J. cannot play, Thad Lewis will get the start. Lewis is 2-2 in relief of Manuel this season, including two wins against the division rival Dolphins.
