Sabres induct Hasek into team Hall Of Fame, lose to Lightning in OT

The great Dominik Hasek was inducted into the Sabres Hall Of Fame on Saturday, right before another regional icon helped bury Buffalo on the ice.

Ryan Callahan scored the tying goal in the third period, then Steven Stamkos scored the winner in overtime, as the Sabres fell to the Lightning 4-3 on Saturday night.

In a bizarre twist, Stamkos broke a 2-2 tie with an empty net own-goal. On a delayed penalty for the SAbres, the Lightning pulled their goalie. But Stamkos's cross-ice pass bounced off the boards and went all the way down into his own net, giving Buffalo a 3-2 lead.

It turned out to be a lead the Sabres couldn't hold.
