Our Bright Spot shines on a sweet fundraiser on Tuesday night.

A bake off at Nosh Restaurant had lawyers and judges competing to raise funds for the Willow Domestic Violence Center.

Monroe County Sheriff Todd Baxter was one of the taste testers for the big bake off.

"This definitely wasn't on the resume or the job description- come out and taste wonderful food for a great cause-- Willow- this is a great event," said Baxter.

"So we have a lot of judges here- a lot of attorneys here- and they work closely with our families at Willow- so being able to be here and raise awareness of issue in Domestic Violence Awareness Month -with some sweet treats- is incredible- we're really grateful," said President & CEO of Willow Domestic Violence Center Meaghan Lacey de Chateauvieux.

The bright spot shines on Monroe County judges and lawyers, going from the courtroom to the kitchen, helping those in need.
