(WHAM) - Our Bright Spot Wednesday shines on a group of volunteers from RIT who are helping students learn to read better.

The group of 25 student-athletes and library staff have been visiting John Williams School No. 5 each week.

This week's visit was for the 11th annual Giant Read.

The students range from pre-K to 3rd grade and received a book at the end of the Giant Read. It gives them a chance to read better and gives the student-athletes and staff mentorship opportunities.
