This week we learn about a rare neuromuscular illness called Charcot Marie Tooth. Zach Houliares, a teenager from Victor with CMT 6, is living bravely with the illness and teaching others about perseverance. A local scavenger hunt and charity benefit is being put on by Rochester Chrome Divas is being held in his honor on July 25th at the Damascus Shrine Center. In the second part of the show we'll hear how the Rochester Summer Meals program is helping feed low-income children. The annual program aims to keep children, who receive meal benefits while at school, from going hungry when school is out. The program is free and available to all children 18 years old and younger.
