Construction Training 1

We look at an initiative involving Rochester Police that works to help refugee populations learn about personal safety, the law and so much more. Refugees from Burma, Bhutan and Somalia are just some of the hundreds who settle each year in Rochester. We'll meet an officer who specializes in reaching out to them. Plus, a new group is looking for a home to help teach the young and jobless or those with a criminal record about construction. It's called the Rochester Construction Training Center. We'll meet its founder and two of the group's supporters. Norma Holland, 13WHAM-TV e-mail | Twitter | Facebook
