This week we learn about the work of the late Dr. Freddie Thomas-- a local scientist, inventor, youth mentor and one of Rochester's foremost African American leaders. A new book has been written about his life-- we'll talk to the author and to Dr. Thomas' wife. Plus- a program at RIT is helping young women of color excel at more than just academics. It's called "WOCHA" or "Women of Color, Honor and Ambition". Norma Holland, 13WHAM-TV e-mail | Twitter | Facebook
