Many Voices, Many Visions, "East House/MCC Early Childhood"

East House Luncheon.JPG

This week we'll learn about the Hope and Recovery Luncheon from East House.

It's an organization that empowers people in recovery from mental illness and substance abuse.

Each year the luncheon raises needed funds for the organization and treats audiences to a powerful message.

This year actress Maureen McCormick, who played Marcia, from the "The Brady Bunch" is the keynote speaker.

Later on in the show, we'll discuss childcare and how in Rochester—there’s a shortage of childcare workers in our community with in-depth knowledge of how to nurture children properly from birth to age 8.

Monroe Community College is stepping in to help with a new degree program aimed at providing students with classroom learning and field work.
