January 8, 2016 -- This week we take a look at an initiative to transform part of Rochester into an urban marketplace called "La Marketa". City leaders will begin accepting proposals to redevelop the area to showcase the food, music and culture of the surrounding neighborhoods while creating jobs. Plus, four local school districts are getting together to screen the documentary film, "I'm Not Racist...Am I?" The film looks at the attitudes of young people when it comes to race and stereotypes. The film will be shown in the West Irondequoit, Penfield, Fairport and Pittsford school districts and discussions will be held after. The public is invited to attend. We'll hear from some local students about what they hope the community learns from the experience.
