Eddie Money: From Rochester Idol to new reality show

Eddie Money, who recently judged "Rochester Idol," is getting a reality show of his own.

Rock star Eddie Money, who was just in town to judge contestants for one reality show, is getting a reality show of his own. reports AXS-TV has ordered ten episodes of a show with the working title "Real Money," about the singer, his wife, five kids and eight pets.

“We may not be the typical cookie-cutter family,” said Money, “but we have a strong sense of love and loyalty for each other that really shines through. It’s real, and it’s something I think everyone can relate to. We’re excited to share our lives with America, as they join us on this wild ride. I’ve only got two tickets to paradise, but I’m taking everybody!”

One of Money's kids is daughter Jesse, who sings in his band. They performed in Batavia this past summer.

Eddie Money was in Rochester this past weekend to judge 13WHAM's "Rochester Idol" contest. The winner of that contest won the Rochester Idol Silver Ticket, which will send her and a guest to an American Idol Judge City for a guaranteed audition with an Executive Producer of "American Idol." did not report an air date for "Real Money."
