Terry Crews' former employee has dropped a $1 million lawsuit he filed against the actor last month.
Darwin Hall claimed he was initially hired by the Deadpool 2 star back in 1999, at the start of Crews' acting career, and went on to manage his social media accounts and personal website. He alleged he received just under $28,500 for all of his work, although about half of the sum was reimbursement for expenses.
Last month, he sued Crews for more than 6,000 hours of work he maintained he was never paid for, at a rate of $55 an hour. Hall also accused the actor of defamation, claiming he used his Twitter account in December to call him out in a series of posts, reportedly encouraging his followers to attack him online.
He claims the tweets led to threats on his life.
According to The Blast, Hall has now dismissed the lawsuit, but has left the option open for him to refile it in the future.
