11-year-old girl injured in Amish buggy hit & run

Rose, N.Y. - State Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a vehicle that hit an Amish buggy in the Town of Rose, then took off.

Troopers told 13WHAM that an 11-year-old girl suffered minor injuries in the collision Sunday around 4 pm on Wayne Center Rose Road.

She was one of three children in the buggy. There were no adults with them.

State Police are looking for a black Jeep Liberty, that they believe has damage to the front right part of the vehicle.
