6 people hospitalized after nail polish remover spill at Westgate Post Office

UPDATE: The Westgate Post Office has reopened, and the source of the odor was found to be spilled nail polish remover, according to the United States Postal Service.
6 people were transported to area hospitals and 10 more were evaluated on scene after an "obnoxious odor" prompted an evacuation and response from Hazmat crews and USPS investigators, according to an official from the United States Postal Service and the Gates Fire Department.
Gates firefighters say the odor was caused by a spill of some unknown cleaning chemical. The source of the odor is still being investigated.
The six people reportedly felt physically sick and nauseous from the odor. Their injuries do not appear to be serious or life threatening.
