41-year-old suspect in AMBER Alert incident back in Rochester

Rochester, N.Y. - Robert Gonzalez, the man who allegedly abducted a 14-year-old girl -- triggering an AMBER Alert this week -- is back in Rochester, according to police.

Rochester police said no date has been set for his arraignment.

Police said Joanna Coates, 14, was abducted on LaSalle Street around 7 p.m. Saturday.

Coates, and Gonzalez, 41, were found in Brooklyn on Tuesday.

The New York City Police Department and FBI helped to track down the pair.

Coates is still in NYC.

Gonzalez was arrested by police on a misdemeanor third-degree assault warrant.

The warrant is unrelated to the AMBER Alert investigation, according to Rochester Police.
