Rochester, N.Y. — Police after investigating after a 43-year-old was shot and killed on Thomas Street early Thursday morning.

Rochester Police say Jose Surrino was found shot near Alphonse Street shortly after midnight. He had been shot at least once in the upper body.

He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital via AMR, where he later died.

No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
