Bristol Mountain has earliest opening day since 1991
Canandaigua, N.Y. (WHAM) - Good news for skiers. Bristol Mountain's 2017-2018 officially starts Saturday. This is the earliest opening day since 1991, when opening day was on November 9th.
Sales and Marketing Director for Bristol Mountain, Drew Broderick says "I also believe it is the quickest opening time from the first snow coming out of the snow guns to the opening of a trail for us."
The Snowmaking Team started Friday morning.
“Our Snowmaking Team have outdone themselves with this very quick turn around. We saw an opportunity to lay down base on Sunset Trail and the team rallied so we could get our guests on snow this weekend!”, says Mountain Manager, Paul Trippi.
