Police catch suspect in Webster burglary

WEBSTER, N.Y. (WHAM) - Webster Police say they have someone in custody who allegedly burglarized a home on Oakwood Lane.

The man reportedly left the scene on foot Sunday afternoon.

The homeowners were not home at the time of the burglary.

No one was injured.

WEBSTER, N.Y. (WHAM) - Webster Police say they are looking for a man who allegedly burglarized a home on Oakwood Lane.

Police are looking for a man who left the scene on foot.

He was last seen in the backyard area of Oakdale Drive and Dewitt Road.

The suspect is described as a male with a thin build, in his late 40s to early 50s, with a mustache and receding hairline.

He was seen wearing a red t-shirt and brown shorts.

Police say neighbors called the burglary in, and that the suspect is not a threat to the public.

The homeowners were not home at the time of the burglary.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to call 911.
