Canandaigua man charged with selling crack cocaine
Canandaigua, N.Y. (WHAM) - Canandaigua Police said they arrested a man Friday evening for selling crack cocaine in Canandaigua.
Officers said they arrested 36-year-old John Jones on December 8.
Jones is accused of selling crack cocaine multiple times while in Canandaigua. His arrest is part of an extensive investigation into crack cocaine sales throughout Ontario County. The investigation involves the Canandaigua City Police Department and the Ontario County Sheriff’s Department.
Jones was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd. He was scheduled to be back in court on December 11, but no information was given about his appearance.
He is currently being held in the Ontario County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond. Additional charges are pending.
