Cats compete for top prize in Rochester
Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - Fancy felines from near and far are in Rochester this weekend, hoping to earn top cat status.
The annual CFA cat show is taking place at the Main Street Armory.
More than 200 cats of all breeds are competing for the top prize.
The cats traveled from across the country and one even came all the way from China.
Organizers say this show gives an idea of how special a bond between a cat and its owner can be.
"Dogs love you. Cats, you have to earn their relationship, so there's an extra respect that needs to go into that bond," said President of the National Siamese Cat Club, Betsy Arnold.
The show is taking place again Sunday.
It's sponsored by the National Siamese Cat Club.
