Demolition begins at proposed Whole Foods site in Brighton

    BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WHAM) - The demolition process at the site of the proposed Whole Foods in Brighton has officially begun.

    Danny Daniele tells 13WHAM that the process started Monday, but it's still in the early stages.

    Daniele says they'll demolish the old Mario's first, which is estimated to take a few weeks. Then, they'll focus on demolishing the old Clover Lanes, which will take a few weeks as well.

    Daniele says they hope to be done with demolition in a month. After that, the developers will start prepping the site, and doing site work.
