Deputies: Drug related charges for two women after 'suspicious vehicle' check

    Avon, N.Y. (WHAM)-Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in a convenience store parking lot on Lakeville Road Sunday morning.

    An investigation revealed two women, Marie Spitz, 32 and Jessica Zicari, 35, in possession of a "drug smoking device" used for smoking crack.

    Spitz was also found in possession with over thirty (30) Clonazepam pills. Clonazepam is a controlled substance, which Spitz did not have a prescription for.

    Both women were arrested and charged with criminally using drug paraphernalia.

    Spitz was additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

    More charges are pending the results of the lab test for hallucinogenic mushrooms that were also found in the car.

    Both women were taken to Livingston County jail on $250 cash bail or $500 bond.
