Deputies: Man breaks into home, assaults homeowner
Williamson, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Macedon man is facing charges after allegedly breaking into a residence in Williamson and assaulting the homeowner.
Wayne County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 20-year-old Kyle Quigley on Saturday, August 18.
Quigley allegedly broke through the door of a home on Ridge Road, entered the house, and then physically assaulted the homeowner.
Deputies say the victim is a 73-year-old man.
He was taken to Strong Memorial hospital to be treated for his injuries. He has since been released.
Quigley was arrested for criminal trespass, criminal mischief, and assault.
He was arraigned in the Town of Williamson court and remanded to the Wayne County Jail. Quigley will appear in Town of Williamson court at a later date.
An order protection was issued for the victim.
