Deputies: Man, girlfriend packaged cocaine, marijuana around 4 young children
Savannah, N.Y. - Deputies in Wayne County arrested three people, including a man and his girlfriend, for running a drug operation in the presence of children.
While searching the residence of Adam Thomas, 40, in Savannah, deputies found a large amount of crack cocaine packaged in multiple bags; marijuana, scales, and smoking utensils.
There were also multiple small bags of cocaine on the floor, along with loose amounts of marijuana, which were accessible to four children between the ages of three months old and eight years old.
Thomas' girlfriend, Lissanne Livingston, 25, was also arrested.
The pair is charged with 3rd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell a narcotic drug, 3rd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree for possessing more than a half ounce of a narcotic drug, and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Crystal L. Kirkey, 32, of Savannah, was also arrested on multiple charges, including endangering the welfare of a child.
Deputies said Thomas is in Wayne County Jail with no bail due to having three previous felony convictions.
