Deputies: Man went snowmobiling while drunk

SODUS, N.Y. (WHAM) - A Wayne County man is facing several charges after deputies say he operated a snowmobile while intoxicated on the night of December 13.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, 34-year-old Kristopher Skilins of Williamson was operating his snowmobile on state trails that had yet to be opened for the year in Sodus.

Upon further investigation, Skilins was found to be intoxicated, having a blood alcohol content (BAC) of .16%.

Skilins was charged with Snowmobiling while Intoxicated, Operating with a BAC over 0.08%, and Operating on Closed Property.

He was released and is set to appear in the Town of Sodus Court at a later date.
