Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) - The Rochester Public Market was crowded with foodies Monday night.
The Festival of Food was held there, with hundreds in attendance.
The event is hosted annually by Foodlink and features samples from more than 100 local restaurants, wineries, breweries, bakeries and more.
Gary Piazza of Gray Ghost Gourmet was serving dirty sprouted brown rice Monday. He said the event benefits everyone involved.
"This is a great cause," he said. "I’ve been doing this probably for 15 years. This is a great cause, benefits the whole city and it’s good exposure...it’s good for me, it’s good for them."
