Geneva man charged with arson for Sunday evening roof fire

    Geneva, N.Y. (WHAM) - A man from Geneva was arrested and charged with arson for a fire set Sunday evening.

    Geneva Police said Joshua Oakley, 22, intentionally started a fire on the roof of a building on S. Main Street, which caused damage to the building.

    Officers did not give a reason why Oakley may have set fire to the building.

    Police charged Oakley with fourth-degree arson.

    Oakley was arraigned and released ahead of his trial date.
