Rochester, N.Y. - More than 1,100 people walked and ran through Highland Park Sunday to help in the battle against cancer.

The 5th Annual Wilmot Warrior Walk celebrated those who have beaten cancer, along with all caregivers.

"It's nice to see the team shirts and the support for each other," said cancer survivor Patricia Bellohusen. "There's capes and people just dressed up supporting people. We've lost people along the way, so it's just nice to have everyone come together for a great cause. And we have beautiful weather!"

The event raises funds for cancer research at Wilmot Cancer Institute and Wilmot's Judy DiMarzo Cancer Survivorship program.
